"Laser Spectroscopy VI" by H. P. Weber, W. Lüthy is a physics book focused on Light & Optics. Best for students, educators, and scientifically curious readers.

The Sixth International Conference on Laser Spectroscopy or SICOLS'83 was held at Interlaken, Switzerland, June 27 to July 1, 1983. Interlaken, a c ha nni ng sma 11 town with the i dea 1 fac i 1 i t i es of the Conferenc e Center CCC I surrounded by the scenery of well-known Swiss mountains nicely followed the tradition of the previous meetings of this series, which were held at Vail, Hegdve, Jackson, Rottach-Egern, and Jasper. At this international conference 310 scientists from 25 countries partici pated. The busy program lasted five days, where twice the afternoon session was replaced by an evening session, to allow for informal excursions during the afternoon. In the technical program were included 61 oral and 82 poster presentations, as we11 as a panel discussion on "What Fundamental Problems in Physics Were or Could be Solved by Modern Spectroscopy?", organized by A.L. Schawlow.
