Structural studies document their architecture and geodynamic evolution, whereas sedimentological studies describe their sedimentary infill, both structural and stratigraphic studies being subsequently used as input data for thermal and petroleum modeling of these sedimentary basins. A particular focus is given to the geology of Saudi Arabia. This book is an important contribution to the geology of the Arabian Peninsula and its surroundings.
