With the DewMaster2 Digital Dew Heater Controller however, Pegasus Astro gives you all the power, control, and automation you could ask for and then some. This dew controller can cover everything from traditional two heater band anti-dew solutions to complex setups requiring three additional heating elements, thanks to its five, individually controllable dew heater channels. These are each equipped with high-capacity MOSFETs for delivery of up 6A per channel*. Harnessing each of these channels can be done via the three-button and red OLED screen on the device, wirelessly via a web portal, or through USB and PC software — or you can let the DewMaster2 handle dew prevention automatically with its environmental sensor (included) and up to two temperature probes (not included)! All this power has been packed into a premium 6061 aluminum housing featuring a flashy blue anodized finish, ready for your custom mounting solution or a shoe mount

Each port is PWM controllable, allowing you to adjust the output to only what is needed to fight dew and govern power usage! The DewMaster2's power delivery doesn't stop at dew prevention either; with two 5.5x2.1 mm 12V DC passthrough ports that can drive other astronomy gear off the same supply feeding your dew controller!

While the DewMaster2 Digital Dew Heater Controller features a healthy variety of manual control options, Pegasus Astro has packed in robust automation for those looking for a hands-off approach! By utilizing high-resolution temperature and humidity readings from the included external environmental sensor, the DewMaster2 can anticipate dew and automatically mobilize your anti-dew equipment accordingly. For even more targeted monitoring the DewMaster2 features two 3.5 mm temperature probe inputs (probes not included), each of which can be tied to a channel to provide even more precise dew protection and preventing you from overshooting anti-dew heating targets.

Complete Control
For those looking to take the reins Pegasus Astro has added both wireless and wired connectivity, allowing you to establish granular control and integration from your device of choice! With ASCOM driver and ASCOM Alpaca support you can take control of this multi-channel dew controller through the USB-C port or its built-in WiFi hotspot; allowing you to easily adjust outputs from your PC and integrate with some of the most popular ASCOM-compatible imaging software suites on the market today. For a more mobile control solution the DewMaster2 additionally can be controlled from your smartphone or tablet browser! Simply connect to the WiFi hotspot, open your browser, and navigate to "dewmaster2.local" for easy access to stats and device controls.
